#0100 View of Manhattan from Under Bridge
This is a painting done on cloudy afternoons. I liked the view I got from under the Manhattan Bridge looking at the Brooklyn Bridge and seeing the Manhattan skyline beyond that. I also liked the mixture of different elements: from man-made structures to water, sky, weeds and mud. Due to the cloudy atmosphere, the buildings in the background had a light and airy quality, despite their size and weight that I hope I captured. Size: 5'x 5'
