#0112 Studio Window
I have a great view of the East River from my studio so I wanted to do something with it. The composition is based on a series of horizontals intersected by the wide vertical strip of the studio wall. I liked the musicality of the distant buildings with their up and down rhythm being offset by the moving flatness of the river. I tried to create a pyramidal structure with the objects in the studio; the red cabinet on the left, the picture on the right and the table in the center that gives us a peak with the plant. Size: 5'x 5'
