#0125 East River, Williamsburg Bridge, And Broken Pier

In this painting I tried to incorporate the idea of the near and the far. The broken concrete slabs represent the foreground and the Williamsburg Bridge and the riverside factories embody the background. It was done in late afternoon and early evenings with the sun setting behind me. The river is a great transitional device for differentiating the two points of view.
